Kim Gordon Design Office, New York and Los Angeles, 2013 to current
Logotype designed on behalf of Kim Gordon, initially for her survey show at White Columns in New York and subsequently incorporated in Gordon’s solo exhibition with Gagosian Gallery in Los Angeles. The motif is based on the announcement card for Gordon’s first solo show at White Columns in 1981 and the typography precisely references a historic incendiary political group cited by Gordon.
