Sol LeWitt, Four Basic Kinds of Lines & Colour, 2019

A facsimile edition made in close correspondence with The Estate of Sol LeWitt, visually replicating Sol LeWitt’s iconic Artist Book originally published in 1977, through which the artist overlaid each combination of the book’s own printing plates within specified formal parameters. Through his precise systematization of the printing process, LeWitt deftly reveals an aesthetic visual resonance embedded in the book’s own conception. Facsimile edition produced with managing editors James Hoff and Keith Grey on behalf of Primary Information and Printed Matter in New York.
